Volunteering Event at Boulder Shelter – 6/30

“And they are those who give food – in spite of their own need , to the needy, and the orphan,  and the captive, [saying in their hearts],’We only feed you for the sake of God, and we desire nothing in return from you, not even a word of thanks”  (76:8-9)

Alhamdulillah, Volunteers from the ICB along with imam Shoaib helped prepare dinner for the residents at the Boulder Shelter. This is expected to be a monthly event wherein ICB can be involved for the betterment of the community.

Imam Shoaib Presents Certificates to New Reverts in Boulder County Jail for Quran Memorization

الحَمْدُ ِلله

The Muslim reverts in the Boulder County Jail have been working hard to memorize the chapters of Fatiha, Ikhlas, Falaq, Nas, and also the verse of the throne (in Arabic, with the translation, and proper tajweed). One way to motivate new Muslims is by outlining their accomplishments with certificates. This also fosters healthy competition among students, inshallah.
